I I painted this live at Greenwich Market over a day. It was Christmas, so there’s a sense of nativity—not intentionally, but it entered my mind as I painted. Often, I hallucinate thoughts onto the canvas. It’s a bizarre experience, like seeing different worlds—ancient, layered dimensions that I can’t fully explain. I’m not usually one to talk about the spiritual or otherworldly, but it feels that way. This is a huge canvas, a true statement piece that will stand out in any room.
