The envelope was ripped at the corner, not much was done to prevent this, fortunately the art was in a plastic bag and it protected it from the environment.

The dimensions suggested that it would be as depth quoted as 2.29 which suggested it was would be stretched across wooden mount or similar. In fact arrived as uncut piece of canvas which arrived certainly not ready to hang. As such will require extra cost of framing which adds another £30/40 for mounting and frame

Painting was on canvas paper, not canvas as listing implied. However Ryan had made a point of reaching out with clarification -- not his fault that I'm bad with emails hence I didn't see until I logged into artfinder to check why what I received differed to what I thought I'd bought! And I agree with Ryan that if Artfinder's "ready to hang" doesn't mean "ready to put up on wall", that is misleading. Overall feeling is it was slightly overpriced, however the painting is beautiful, really captures sparky spirit of the cockatiel he painted. Still hunting for a decent frame, I look forward to hanging and I'm sure that will bring it to life!

I love everything about this painting! There is an ambivalence to the scenario. Sometimes I see tenderness in the way the man touches the woman, who in turn, seems content and at peace. Sometimes I feel he is grasping her angrily and forcefully, and that she is hurting. I’m a big fan of Ryan and his works. Ryan’s correspondences regarding the piece made it apparent that it was special to him. The painting came nicely and snugly packaged and earlier than expected! This is a personal favorite of mine which I've renamed "Helga". It's a splendid depiction of my mother, who died in her 30s, but she was feisty, career-driven and knew how to have fun. She had beautiful clothes, blond hair that she certainly would keep perfectly coifed under a kerchief. I do not know who Ryan Louder had in mind for this painting but I am happy to have it.
